Our Ministries

To cultivate the youth community to discover who God is, and their God-given potential through Christ-like attitudes, servant hood and discipleship. To empower the youth to Know God, Grow in Faith, Go in Power and apply the Word of God to their daily lives.  

We minister to the spiritual needs of our children through interactive lessons, music, dance and arts and crafts; we strife to deliver the message of Jesus Christ in an environmentally safe and conducive area for play and learning. 

Praise and worship our Lord and minister to the body of Christ through expressive movement and the art if dance. We welcome all Mimes. 

Provides respectful and fun-loving experience while encouraging and motivating young adults to develop and maintain a committed life to Christ. Ages 18-30.

To serve meals with excellence, exhibiting a welcoming attitude to everyone who enters the church and community when needed. 

Is available to those needing transport to and from our worship services.  

Provides protection to God’s house by Godly servants any time our doors are open and during outreach programs.    

We serve God and his Church through timely and accurate administrative functions. We are staffed with part-time volunteers.   

Provides Christian Education based on Baptist doctrine available to all ages regardless of membership in Mount Calvary Baptist Church.   

MATT 5:4, A part of Congregational Care with the purpose of caring and serving families & individuals who have lost a love one. Comforts and encourages the bereaved. Our goal is to ensure that Mount Calvary Family shows grieving families love and compassion through one of the most difficult times of their lives.; and that we are consistent with MCBC guidelines.  

The Missions ministry goal is to equip members and provide resources to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of our congregation and community. We demonstrate our love for Jesus Christ by loving others which is an essential part of reaching those who are hurting or in need. We would love to minister to you and your family or have you join our team. MATT 25:35-40 

We do this thru street witnessing and ministering God’s word in the community, providing financial aid abroad and locally, shared community fun days etc. and we are always looking for more opportunities to model Christ thru giving and adding more disciples. 

Servants of God responsible for shoring up and overseeing the needs of God’s house and to support and assist the Pastor so that he would be free to concentrate on seeing to the spiritual needs of the body of Christ.   

Focus on glorifying God while assisting with the growth of our Christian faith, by beautifying the house of God During several occasions through the year.  

1 Kings 6:18 & 32    

To serve as a spiritual, emotional support system for the Pastor, First Lady and family. 1 TIM 5:17 Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is reaching and teaching.  

We encourage spiritual growth by providing prayer through Intercession via phone conference and promoting Corporate Prayer.  

Acts 6:3 Brothers and sisters choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and to support and assist the Pastor and the ministerial staff so that they would be free to concentrate on seeing to the spiritual needs of the body of Christ.   

Serve the MCBC congregation by providing quality audio cd recordings to our sick and shut in members and community at large. We record the weekly MCBC sermons. We ensure accurate scriptures and pertinent information are displayed on monitors during worship experiences and for training purposes.   

To minister in music through the power of the Holy Spirit; to faithfully follow the call of Jesus Christ to set the atmosphere to usher in the Holy Spirit thru song. To always be a willing vessel to Know, Grow & Go in God thru music and strive to model the life of Christ thru Relationship, Reconciliation and Restoration. Be encouraged to join the SR Choir, VOC, Praise & Worship Ministries. 

Welcome all new members in a warm and friendly environment who join the Mount Calvary. Assist members with the paperwork, provide information about the New Disciples Class, do follow up welcome calls, assist with Baptism needs and direct New Disciples to different ministries at Mount Calvary that they have interest in.
